If you walk directly south from Fo tér, you'll find this excellent choice for dining. An elegant restaurant in a former private home, Régimódi is furnished with antique Hungarian carpets and chandeliers. Original artworks decorate the walls. Limited terrace dining is available, though you might not want to miss out on eating amid the rich interior decor. The menu offers a wide range of Hungarian specialties, with an emphasis on game dishes. The wild-deer stew in red wine is particularly sumptuous, while less adventurous diners might opt for the turkey breast stuffed with stewed fruit in cheese sauce. The menu also features numerous salad options. There's an extensive wine list.
