Although its accommodations and restaurant are living on past glories and are not worth your money, this hotel is a fantastic spot for a late-afternoon drink, when you can watch the sunset over Taroudannt and the surrounding mountains. Sitting atop the closest hill overlooking Tafraoute, Hôtel les Amandiers's white exterior can't be missed and is a pleasant walk up from the rest of the town. At the very front of the hulking mass is an outdoor area with a few tables and chairs from where you can be served a nice chilled wine or cold beer.
