Faux grape vines (rubis in French) hang from the ceilings of this casual but elegant restaurant, and the mat-lined walls are adorned with numerous paintings of wine bottles and vineyards. The decor will get you in the mood to select from one of Tahiti's most extensive lists of French vintages, many of them offered by the glass. The menu suggests a match for each item. Shrimp in a sweet, slightly curried coconut-cream sauce is the star here, or you can opt for the same sauce over fresh tuna. Salmon in puff pastry and traditional French versions of steak, veal, lamb, and duck are all tasty.
