These cooking classes offer a great introduction to Taiwanese cooking in a beautiful setting. Rather than reinventing the wheel with a range of complicated and unfamiliar dishes, classes focus on easy-to-prepare basics, and students are encouraged to develop adaptations in order to easily re-create meals back home. In between you can enjoy a cup of green tea on the balcony. Jodie also organizes walking tours into the surprisingly rugged surrounding countryside.
