This restaurant, easily spotted with its castlelike roof, occupies what was once a traditional Japanese inn and retains many of its original traditional features, including a delightful inner courtyard complete with a pond, dwarf pine trees, carp, and some lanterns (take off your shoes at the entrance and deposit them into a locker). You'll probably want to order one of the set meals, such as obento lunch boxes or tempura and sashimi teishoku, made easy to choose from by photos in the Japanese-language menu. At any rate, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced; you can't go wrong.
