The owners have put a lot of TLC into this well-established inn, located beside Town Creek and close to everything. It remains a good value. All rooms are decorated in French-country style, and many have window seats and views of the water. Two rooms can be combined as a family suite. Guests can relax in the cozy library with fireplace. Pope's Tavern, a local favorite, serves dinner Wednesday through Sunday, beginning at 5:30pm. Make reservations.
