This is the middle of three hotels on this street and a decent fallback to the other two (reviewed below). This is a child of the 1950s and was refurbished in late 1990s. The rooms, which are still a good value, are modern but beginning to show signs of age. The combination of compact rooms and heavy gold drapes serves to keep the rooms a bit warmer in winter than other hotels, with each room furnished with a small coffee table and two chairs. The bathrooms are adequate with walk-in showers. Request a rear-facing room, as those overlooking the road can get a bit noisy.
