More than anywhere inside the El Minzah Hotel, this is the place that has the most stories to tell. Named after Caid Sir Harry Maclean, his life-size portrait still watches over a bar that was one of the drinking holes of choice during wartime Tangier and is said to be the inspiration for Rick's Cafe in Casablanca. Caid's is a true lounge bar with plush velvet seats, lingering cigar smoke, and live piano jazz most nights. Open daily 10am to midnight.
