Frommer's Review
One of the best hotels in the area lies outside of town on the road to Cádiz, within walking distance of the beach at La Peña. Built in the mid-1970s, it is a typically graceful Andalusian structure of two stories, with whitewashed walls and colored tiles. Bedrooms are a bit small but have balconies, tiled floors, simple but comfortable furnishings (tasteful wooden pieces), plus well-maintained tiled bathrooms with tub/shower combos. Instead of a regular double, you can live more privately in one of the bungalows set on the landscaped grounds. If you don't want to travel back into Tarifa at night, you'll find a very good restaurant on-site serving regional dishes.
