Mesón de Sancho ReviewAlthough the Punta Azul wins for its beautiful garden and location, this hacienda is the second best in the area. It will house you in style and comfort at a point 16km (10 miles) southwest of Algeciras and 11km (6 1/2 miles) northeast of Tarifa on the road to Cádiz. An informal inn with good beds and excellent regional food, it also offers a pool surrounded by olive trees and terraces. The hotel still evokes the era (1955) in which it was built. The small rooms are modest but streamlined, each with a small tiled bathroom. The provincial dining room overlooks the garden.
