Frommer's Review
This basic guesthouse is in front of the post office in the center of town. A former private house converted in 1999, it attracts guests on a budget. Bedrooms are simply furnished but comfortable and well maintained. Some surfers pile in here, sleeping three to five a room. Bedrooms on the ground floor don't get enough daylight, but the upper accommodations open onto scenic vistas of the town. There are virtually no amenities, but there is a roof terrace enclosed by low white walls. Many restaurants are just a short walk from the doorstep.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
