Frommer's Review
This is Taroudannt's only fine-dining choice and is known as much for the setting as the food. The large restaurant within this villa-hotel opens onto an open-air patio that affords a pleasant, umbrella-shaded lunch or a romantic dinner under the stars. During the colder months, request a table inside next to the clay-brick fireplace. The menu is limited but offers a choice of Moroccan dishes such as chicken tagine with preserved lemon and green olives, pastas, and menus du jour for lunch and dinner that usually include an international dish such as a filet of Saint-Pierre (John Dory) in a rosemary-and-cream sauce or a smoked salmon tagliatelle. If there are no tour groups staying here, and there rarely are, the restaurant is quiet, and you may end up with your own personal waiter.
