Undoubtedly Tashkurgan's top choice, the Singaporean-owned Crown Inn offers superclean, simple but stylish and modern rooms. Some of the bathrooms have full size tubs which are definitely welcome at this altitude. The hotel's location a little out of the center affords fine mountain views, especially from the roof terrace. Service is friendly and the hotel can also arrange local treks, horse rides and visits to nearby Tajik villages. The restaurant here is also the best in town.
