Coconut Grove Beachfront Cottages

Ronna Goldstein, who named this little gem not for the palm trees growing all around it but for her hometown in Florida, has three bures (bungalows) set beside a fine little beach next to her restaurant. Ronna lives here, and the restaurant is on her big, breezy front porch with a terrific view of the sea and offshore islets. You can dine here or down by the beach. Next door, her Mango cottage has a great sea view from its large front porch. Down below, the Banana bure lacks the great view, but it's right by the beach and is more private. Almost on the beach, the Papaya bure is the smallest, but it's also the most private. All three have CD players and outdoor showers. Ronna's veteran staff will make you feel right at home, while Sophia, her friendly Doberman, is in charge of guest relations. Ronna provides complimentary kayaks, snorkeling fins (bring your own mask), half-hour massages, and village visits. This is one of Fiji's great values. Note: Children 6 and under are not accepted here.
