This charming restaurant is an eclectic Mexican mix of adobe, brick, and wood with decor that includes regional art, old black-and-white photos of Mexican and American entertainers, and some kitsch memorabilia. There are a number of romantic balcony tables lit with candles and lamps after dark. The hearty fare includes cecina taxqueña (thin strip steak served with guacamole), pollo Guerrero (chicken cooked with paprika, onion, small potatoes, and guacamole), and enchiladas prepared any way you want. A guitar player/singer performs weekend nights, and brunch is offered on Sunday.
