Frommer's Review
Forel means "trout," and the owner of this sparkling little place has patented a special grill with delicate rollers to charcoal this fish to perfection. Try the trout stuffed with garlic and eggplant, or opt for mushrooms and almonds instead. If trout's not your thing, you might try the char-grilled Nile perch in Provençal sauce or the magnificent (but pricey) fish and seafood soup. Seafood is also a good choice here; and for NIS 270 ($60) you can even get lobster. Appetizers range from a house pâté, or matjes herring to selections from the antipasto table. Although Forelin looks plain from the outside, it's a gem. Tip: The set business lunches run from NIS 60 to NIS 89 ($14-$20), and include an appetizer, main course, and coffee or tea.
