Set in an evocative, restored building in the gardens at the top of the hill of Old Jaffa (near the Hammam), this restaurant offers wonderful views, and fish and meat dishes all done with a special touch. Among the appetizers you'll find kosher "shrimp" in sesame, and salmon pâté. Excellent fresh fish that can be ordered in a number of different ways is a major attraction here, but the Shirat Hayam baked duck is also quite famous. Most main courses come with a big mezze of 14 salads and side dishes. There is a large selection of interesting desserts and kosher ice creams. For those who are exploring Jaffa and need a glatt kosher choice, this is one of the few available.
