Frommer's Review
This very busy place, with a deck overlooking the sea, serves everything from tapas, pizzas, salads and foccacia, to grilled rib-eye steak, seafood linguine, and fine sautéed shrimp in white wine. There's also a dozen beers, good espresso, and a dessert list that includes homemade Arabic sweet cheese kanafe (made on the spot), passion fruit pie, and (also made on the spot) a chocolate volcano and banana tart tatin. The waist-high sea wall that separates the promenade from the beach serves as an impromptu counter-seating area for those having tapas and drinks -- on a windy night the spray from the waves just dusts your food. Tapas, ranging from hummus to grilled shrimp, are in the NIS 18 to NIS 41 ($4-$9) range. Leisurely breakfast/brunches are also served. Everything is good; this is an excellent choice if you want to people-watch and experience the eclectic feel of dining at the Tel Aviv Port.
