Frommer's Review
Located directly on the beach, not far from the heart of the Ha-Yarkon Street restaurant district, the Sheraton offers good value in the deluxe hotel category. The public areas and most guest rooms sport a stylish decor that makes use of natural textures and materials such as stone, unglazed pottery, and silvered iron. The result is one of the best hotel interior designs in the country -- elegant and unpretentious. Guest rooms on the Business Floors (10-17) are understated, set against off-white and cream-colored walls, textiles and carpets. In 2005-06, 18 suites and fifty rooms were completely redone to create a new, "exclusive" room category; further guest room improvements should follow. Many rooms have balconies. The outdoor pool is accessed by a metal, spiral staircase -- difficult for those with limited mobility.
