Located just across the road from the Hilton, the Melody is one of the gems of the Atlas Hotel chain. In 1998, the former Canadian Embassy was transformed into this hotel, with sleek, beautifully designed and furnished rooms equipped with soundproof windows; those facing the street have panoramic views of Independence Park and glimpses of the sea. Some rooms are equipped for those with limited mobility. The lobby is small, and doubles as a coffee bar for breakfast. The staff is attentive, and a good beach is just across the street.
