Frommer's Review
Now part of the Howard Johnson Chain, the Shalom Hotel is a modern, five-story structure with a bright lobby. All the front rooms have balconies with a glimpse of the Mediterranean and Independence Park. Guest rooms are functional but not special. In front of the hotel is the Stagecoach Restaurant and Pub, which has Wild West decor and live music every evening.
