Frommer's Review
This large, 16-story hotel offers a good location, a short block from the sea, and amenities that are not found at smaller hotels in this price range. There are two parts to the hotel: the Executive Wing (known as the Metropolitan Suites) and the main (standard) section. The Executive Wing contains one- and two-bedroom suites with upgraded decor, kitchenettes, and DSL Internet service. Each suite comes with free use of the executive lounge, with its running light buffet and free Web access. The standard wing offers a variety of single and double rooms and junior suites that are spacious, but are less pleasantly appointed. Some rooms are accessible to those with disabilities. Most rooms have vistas of the cityscape or the sea; some have balconies. Decor throughout the hotel is functional, bland, and, as at many Israeli hotels at press time, somewhat worn. The outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace is a bright, welcome feature.
