Another of Tel Aviv's new moderately priced theme hotels, the Sea.Net is set up for the Internet-minded traveler. Brand new rooms have been designed to look almost like sleek, efficient offices; they're equipped with DSL Internet connections, interactive TVs, and a keyboard that enables surfing via the TV screen. Rooms are compact, but contain a good-size work desk and a safe that's roomy enough to accommodate a personal computer. Despite the ultra modern aura of planned obsolescence, there's a rooftop sundeck, a friendly bar/lounge, and the beckoning beach just half a block away, all of which make the Sea.Net a pleasant choice for tourists as well as business travelers.
