Frommer's Review
This 19th-century hotel stands right over the spring whose famous waters won an endorsement from Plutarch. Even today you can enjoy the same curative waters as the Roman soldiers of yore: In the basement is a thermal spa that offers such treatments as mud therapy. The hotel offers modernized rooms with traditional furnishings, mostly in teak. Half of the guest rooms come with bathrooms with tubs, the other half bathrooms with showers; suites have Jacuzzis. The place is located in the commercial center of the lower town near the port.
