Getting There -- Frequent daily trains run from London's Paddington Station to Kemble, 11km (7 miles) east of Tetbury. For more information and schedules, call tel. 0845/748-2950 or visit www.nationalrail.co.uk. You can then take a bus from there to Tetbury.

National Express buses leave London's Victoria Coach Station with direct service to Cirencester, 16km (10 miles) northeast of Tetbury. For information, call tel. 0871/781-81-81 or visit www.nationalexpress.co.uk. Several buses a day connect Cirencester to Tetbury.

If you're driving from London, take the M40 northwest to Oxford, continuing along the A40 to the junction with the A429. Drive south to Cirencester, where you connect with the A433 southwest into Tetbury.
