This is one of the Hamptons' hottest dining destinations, and has been ever since it opened in 2001. It might be a challenge to score a reservation here (still, even though a Manhattan branch opened in 2009), but if you do, ask for a table in the back for a more relaxed atmosphere. The menu offers traditional bistro fare that is as simple as the decor, with only a few selections each night. Steak frites is an excellent choice, while the flounder and salmon are always tender; the macaroni and cheese is wonderfully over-the-top, flavored with chopped truffles and prosciutto.
