Built in 1979, this modern building lies in the center of Brae, 45km (28 miles) north of Lerwick; it's beside A970, about 1.6km (1 mile) south of the narrow isthmus that separates North from South Mainland. The small, pastel-toned guest rooms are reassuringly warm. Each comes with a small, shower-only bathroom. The restaurant serves affordable meals.
