Frommer's Review

My friend Trish Snyder, author of Alligator & Crocodile Rescue: Changing the Future for Endangered Wildlife, told me about Reptilia, a unique attraction north of Toronto. The attraction features a Reptile Zoo, which re-creates large, naturalistic environments for each species. Some of the better-known residents are Reggie and Diaga, both 6m (20-ft.) pythons, and Induna, a 1,000-pound Nile crocodile (the largest one in Canada). Reptila specializes in children's educational programs, which are designed to show how reptiles are an integral part of the world's biodiversity.
