This hotel opened in 2004 in a prime location just a block away from the Eaton Centre. But Victoria Street is so quiet, you'd never guess that you're downtown and a short walk from most of Toronto's big attractions. Being an oasis of serenity in the middle of the city is the Pantages' main theme. Its guest rooms are decked out in a soothing palette of neutrals, and they all have cushy duvets and 400-thread-count linens. Better yet, many rooms have a Jacuzzi tub. The hotel also pays real attention to security (important, because the Eaton Centre area has long been a favorite with petty thieves), with features such as room-key-only access to the elevator.
