This is a good setting for a romantic dinner as it's set in a converted 18th-century sugar mill on Tortola's finest sandy beach. Its tables are arranged on two decks beneath sea-grape trees opening onto the white sands. The place is especially enticing on Tuesday and Thursday for pasta night, or on Wednesday and Sunday when an international buffet is served. The chefs do some of the finest grills on the island, especially in fresh fish, and they are also known for their beach barbecues and fresh-from-the-reef seafood. Sometimes visitors or hotel guests drop in for lunch just for a burger, drink, and dessert. At night the cuisine grows more elaborate, featuring mostly a Caribbean cuisine, though borrowing recipes from other cultures as well.
