Frommer's Review
This is one of the largest resorts in the British Virgin Islands, rising above a private harbor in a compound of two-story concrete buildings scattered over 18 hectares (44 acres) of sloping, landscaped terrain. The panoramic view of Sir Francis Drake Channel from the bedrooms is one of the best anywhere, though there's no beach to speak of.
In January of 2007 the resort opened for business after being shut down for wholesale renovations. A major overhaul and expansion are expected to continue throughout 2007 and into 2008 until the resort will offer some 100 rooms. All of the accommodations will have private balconies or patios, and some of the larger units will be suitable for families, complete with kitchenettes, living and dining areas, and separate sleeping areas. When the resort is completed, the rates below will more than likely go up. Inquire before booking in here.
The food at the hotel's restaurant is a combination of Continental specialties and island favorites.
