Beef Island Guest House

This is a little B&B outpost on a small island reached by a bridge from Tortola. This is the same island that the airport is on, and is located near the North Sound Express ferry to Virgin Gorda. In a converted cottage, it offers only a handful of private rooms and a communal living room. Staying here is like participating in a small house party. In front is a swimming area, but a good beach lies a short walk away. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with ceiling fans and a private bathroom with shower. All of the accommodations share a large veranda with a panoramic view of the bay. Next door is a casual beach bar and restaurant serving banana pancakes in the morning, homemade burgers at lunch, and nightly specials such as grilled fish, fried chicken, or spicy baby back ribs.
