Getting There
By Train -- There are trains two to four times an hour from Venice (25-35 min.). Fifteen runs daily (10 on Sun) come from Vicenza (40-80 min.).
By Bus -- Ten buses (tel. 0422-577-311) run daily from Asolo (55 min.).
By Car -- From Venice, the quick way is the A27 autostrada to the Treviso Sud exit, but the more direct route is the SS13 (though that can be slow-going at rush hour and midday). From Padua, take the A4 autostrada past Venice to the A27.
Visitor Information
The tourist office is just behind the main Piazza dei Signori at Piazza Monte di Pietà 8 (tel. 0422-547-632; fax 0422-419-092; www.sevenonline.it), and is open daily from 9am to 12:30pm, plus Tuesday to Friday 2:30 to 6:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 3:30 to 6pm. There's also a provincial tourist office at Via Turazza 7a (tel. 0422-541-052; fax 0422-540-366; www.trevisotour.org), though it's mostly administrative.
Free Tours--The tourist office offers free guided tours of the city, April 28 to December 29, on Saturdays, lasting from 10am to noon. The tours must be booked in advance at tel. 0422-547-632.
