In the residential suburb of Cascade, right outside Port-of-Spain, stands this little boutique hotel of charm and a certain grace. Each accommodation is decorated in an individual and whimsical theme -- the Central Room evokes the opulence of Indian palaces and the colorful marketplaces of Asia; the Government House Room pays tributes to past governor generals and visiting royalty, and the Cocoa House Room is inspired by the amber and gold leaves of the cocoa tree. A complimentary, fully stocked minibar is part of the deal, and the on-site restaurant, Battimamzelle, is one of Port-of-Spain's best.
