It's not an obvious place to eat, perhaps, but one of Trinidad's best spots for live music also has a restaurant attached, and if you're lucky enough to score one of the tables on the terrace, you'll be within earshot of the band playing on the platform on the steps below. The restaurant is, on the whole, no better or worse than other state-run places in town. It serves the standard main courses -- grilled chicken, pork, and fish, as well as lobster and a couple of inexpensive sandwiches and omelets. We also like this spot for lunch.
