A charming house run by an enterprising, English-speaking young man named Julio and his wife, Rosa, this is one of the best-run and friendliest casas in Cuba. In a breezy and centrally located colonial home built in 1800, it has one spectacular bedroom (featured in National Geographic), as well as another perfectly acceptable room, a great new kitchen, and several terraces, including one with fantastic rooftop views. Julio is a photographer and bon vivant with considerable advice on Trinidad's cultural scene; check out his collection of slides and pictures adorning the house. This place is popular and advance reservations are a must.
