Special Events

The Göta River and the waterfalls of Trollhättan are celebrated in a 40-year-old festival called Fallens Dagar, or "Waterfalls Days." It starts every year on the third Friday in July and lasts for the whole weekend. Food, music, and dancing fill the agenda. There are even fireworks displays, a duck race, a handicraft market, and various activities for kids. We always like to time our visit to Trollhättan during the festival.
