Frommer's Review
Located 25 minutes north of the Tucson city limits, this place is primarily used by groups and family reunions. However, the remote location and the rustic ranch setting (which includes two restored 1880s adobe houses) make this lovingly restored ranch an ideal spot for a tranquil getaway between the desert and the mountains. The decor is a mix of rustic Mexican furnishings and contemporary works by regional artists. Several of the casitas have full kitchens, and two have fireplaces. The ranch borders Oracle State Park, and a section of the Arizona Trail is within a few miles. Horseback rides and guided nature walks can be arranged.
Facilities:
Pool; Jacuzzi; bike rentals; massage; laundry service; horseback riding

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
