You may decide to return for a week or more after experiencing this comfortable, efficient, and inexpensive little gem. I stayed both recently and when the owners were still in the building stage, and was pleased to see they’d considered all the important details. All rooms have a five-gallon jug of purified water, small fridges, coffee makers with Mexican coffee, kitchen sink, silverware, and dishes. What more could you need? How about one or two comfy beds, a balcony or patio, your own water heater for dependable showers, and quiet A/C. Breakfast is served on the spacious rooftop patio during high season and guests gather here throughout the day to lounge, exchange books, and use the unreliable Wi-Fi (there’s none in the rooms). The beach is a 10-minute drive away and there are plenty of markets, restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Book far in advance here. There's a two-night minimum year round, though exceptions are made if rooms are available.
