Frommer's Review
Although some of the mirrored and frescoed salons here serve full meals, we suggest you dine at another restaurant and enjoy only a light refreshment (one of the pastries or chocolates handsomely displayed in the main room) while soaking in the ambience of the classic, century-old Caffè Torino. Many mirrors, smoky oil paintings, and acres of carved wood create just the ambience you would expect to find in one of the city's most beloved institutions. This place is great for a cheap, fast, light meal: At lunch and dinner, bar plates are loaded with bite-size sandwiches, pizzas, stuffed olives, fried cheese and veggies, and other goodies -- all yours for the gobbling with the purchase of a drink.
