The best restaurants here are just outside the main gates at CityWalk, Universal's restaurant and nightclub venue. But there are more than a dozen places to eat inside the park. Here are some favorites:

  • Most Immersive: Dining on traditional British food at The Leaky Cauldron (in Diagon Alley) feels like eating on the set of the Harry Potter movies.
  • Best Sit-Down Meal: Head to Lombard's Seafood Grille for a hearty fried shrimp basket, as well as a selection of seafood, pasta, salads, and sandwiches in slightly more upscale surroundings. It's located on the lagoon in the San Francisco area.
  • Best Counter Service: Try Universal Studios' Classic Monster Cafe for salads, pizza, pasta, and rotisserie chicken with a side of classic and creepy creatures. It's off 7th Avenue.
  • Best Place for Hungry Families: Similar to a mall food court, Fast Food Boulevard in the Simpsons area offers a variety of foods in a single location, which helps satisfy picky eaters.
  • Best Place to Grab a Drink: Finnegan’s Bar & Grill, in the New York area, is such a convival pub that you'll even find off-duty Universal staff hanging out there. It serves British and Irish specialties.
