Kibbutz Ha-Goshrim Hotel

Located next door to the beautiful Hurshat Tal National Park, this very popular kibbutz guesthouse is another good base for exploring Upper Galilee and the Golan. Founded by Turkish Jews in 1948, it has numerous recreational options and offers a watersports program that includes kayak rentals and trips. Rooms are scattered in several buildings; ask to see the superior rooms, which are newer and a bit higher in price, and decide if you feel they're worth the difference. Some rooms can accommodate up to two children; there are also rooms for travelers with disabilities. The nearby Pub Gosh (below) is a good dining choice in an area with few options.
