Frommer's Review
This old Greek house in the ancient town of Sinassos (now Mustafapasa), said to be the former mayor's mansion, is now a restaurant and pension. The owner's wife prepares delicious traditional dishes in the large kitchen off the side of the house; the traditional cave oven she uses for baking is visible from the inner courtyard. The five-course menu is essentially the same every day, and includes stuffed eggplant with lamb, manti (meat dumplings topped with sauce), white beans cooked in a tandoori oven (with or without meat), köfte (meatballs), and potatoes. The house retains many of its original features, and guests dine either in the main courtyard, or in one of the two upper story rooms, where some impressive frescoes are still partially visible. Much of the wood paneling is original.
