Five kilometers (3 miles) north of the ruins on the road to Mérida, you'll find this pleasant open-air restaurant with a large palapa roof. The amiable owner, María Cristina Choy, charges the lowest prices around. Individual diners can sometimes become lost in the crowd if a busload of tourists arrives, but otherwise the service is fine and the food quite good. There's also a small gift shop with regional crafts and a few books.
