Still booming after 8 years, Bin 941 remains the place for trendy tapas dining, and in 2006 won "Best Tapas" at the Vancouver magazine restaurant awards. True, the music's too loud and the room's too small, but the food that alights on the bar and eight tiny tables is delicious and fun, and the wine list is great. Look especially for local seafood offerings such as scallops and tiger prawns tournedos. In this sliver of a bistro sharing is unavoidable, so come prepared for socializing. A second Bin, dubbed Bin 942, opened at 1521 W. Broadway (tel. 604/673-1246). The tables start to fill up at 6:30pm at both spots, and by 8pm, the hip and hungry have already formed a long and eager line.
