If you're looking for a self-catering place, this attractive, Craftsman-style house, just minutes from all the splash of Kits Beach and the dash of Kits shopping, is a real find. You don't need a car; public transportation can get you downtown in minutes. The two self-contained suites have private entrances and patios and are both small but carefully designed (a sofa in each makes into an extra bed) and furnished in a comfortable Northwest style. Both units have kitchenettes; the rear unit has only a shower. Breakfast is not served, but you're given a basket of fruit and baked goods upon arrival. In high season a 3-day minimum stay is required; special rates apply for longer stays.
