Reflecting the graying and -- gasp! -- mellowing of Vancouver's boomer-age gay crowd, the hottest hangout for gays is The Fountain Head, a pub located in the heart of the city's gay ghetto on Davie Street. The Head offers excellent microbrewed draft, good pub munchies, and a pleasant humming atmosphere until the morning's wee hours.
