Nightlife
Bands play from June through August at the Paradise International Hotel (tel. 70-211), and all year at Tonga Bob's Cantina (tel. 70-285), an open-air waterfront joint near the western end of Neiafu. Otherwise, there's not much to do except hang out with all the expatriates and yachties down at the Mermaid, on the waterfront.
