Duck off bustling Calle Larga just 150m (492 ft.) from St. Mark's Square and you'll find a hidden little campiello whose namesake "two wells" flanks the round tables where hotel guests take breakfast in warm weather. The quietest rooms overlook this tiny square from flower-fringed windows. All guest rooms were restructured in 1998 in a tidy, modern style with embroidered fabrics, a few 18th-century Venetian-style pieces, Murano chandeliers, wood floors, and glass mirrors on the closet doors to make the cozy quarters seem roomier. Room nos. 20 and 40 get slivers of Grand Canal views down a short street; no. 47 opens onto the noisy shopping of Calle Larga, but it comes with frescoed ceilings and a small sitting room. Rooms in the seven-room annex, Dependance Favaro, around the corner are largely the same. Guests can receive a 10% discount off meals at the hotel restaurant Da Raffaele.
