Frommer's Review
Antonella, the young hands-on owner/manager, creates an efficient yet comfortable ambience here. The more accessible lower-floor rooms (there's no elevator and the hotel begins on the second floor) are slightly larger and offer rooftop views, but the top-floor rooms boast views of San Marco's cupolas and the Torre dell'Orologio, whose two bronze Moors ring the bells every hour (the large double-paned windows help to ensure quiet). A decade of renovations brought new tiled bathrooms (with hair dryers and heated towel racks), TVs, firm mattresses, and air-conditioning. Every room but two has a private bathroom and all have wood beams on the ceilings. Room nos. 4 (a small double) and 5 (a triple) share a bathroom and a small hallway and can be turned into a family suite. Additionally, Antonella has opened a four-room annex nearby.
